Responsibilities of GYST Assistants:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with GYST clients by providing proactive, anticipatory and consistently excellent assistant support on an ongoing basis
  • Manage a wide range of responsibilities in the assistant role, including standard personal and executive assistant responsibilities, property management, event management, move and renovation support and home organization
  • Maintain open, clear and timely communication with GYST Leadership, Assistant Team and Clients
  • To be an active participant in and positive addition to the GYST community, contributing to group conversations, lending support to peers and participating in team events

 

Competencies and Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience assisting a celebrity, high profile individual or family, C-level executive or comparable
  • 1 year experience assisting from a private residence
  • Passion for providing service worth bragging about
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving capacity
  • Detail oriented and thorough
  • Energetic, positive and proactive
  • Resourceful, efficient and highly organized
  • Confident, polished and professional
  • Excellent working knowledge of NYC
  • Technology savvy
  • Sense of urgency that doesn’t eclipse thoughtfulness
  • Flexible schedule and mindset
  • Empathetic and kind
  • Strong familiarity with luxury lifestyle

 

Additionally useful experience and skills include:

  • Comfortable with Quickbooks, advanced spreadsheets and simple financial statements and budgets
  • Adobe CS skills
  • Property management and renovation experience
  • Driving, and comfortable driving in Manhattan
  • Hamptons experience
