Affiliate Marketing
According to Neil Patel “Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products.” I’m sure you’ve heard of its relative – Influencer Marketing. Depending upon the deal you have with the company you get a set fee for every purchase, sign-up, etc – or you get a % of the purchase.
Surprisingly, a lot of big companies have affiliate marketing. Amazon, Lowe’s, J. Crew. Check out this Amazon hyperlink <– through Amazon Associates I’ve included code into the link that – at no cost to you – that gets me a % of your sale if you buy something on Amazon according to their terms and conditions.
There are lots of ways to share about products you love:
Write blog posts
Create YouTube videos (tutorials or un-boxing videos)
Share on social channels (include #ad or #affiliate if you use a link)
Create a website about a topic and include your Amazon affiliate link (exactly what I’m doing with this website).
