I want to teach you everything I wish I would have known when I started off in the business, so you don’t make the same mistakes.
My mission started in 2008 when I was sitting on the floor of a crowded audition room at the AEA building (before it was renovated). I had just come home from a contract and I didn’t want to leave town again. I asked around for temp agency recommendations and someone got out their agent’s card. Some friends passed it around and wrote their temp agent’s info on it. “There has got to be a better way” I thought, so I went home Googled “Survival Jobs for Actors” and when I couldn’t find anything, decided to create my own resource.
My acting journey ended when I was finding myself not happy with the 8-shows-a-week thing, and I wanted to try something else. I enjoyed temping in an office, so I went into that world. I got married, moved to the suburbs, and popped out a few kids, but I found myself wanting to help actors again. But it wasn’t just Survival Jobs this time, the conversation needed to be more about financial stability as a whole.
I created a course Act and Make Money, where you can learn how to create financial security for yourself.
I sincerely hope I can get you on the path to financial security. It’s possible!
