Noreen Quadir
I'm an actress, copywriter, media strategist, & video editor.
I help actors with copywriting for social media, blogs, newsletters, & websites/media strategy/video editing.
Iām a copywriter, content writer, and video editor who increases online reputation, brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement for social impact entrepreneurs, children's media companies, performing arts organizations, healthcare and pet businesses, and nonprofits.
Using my theatre and acting background, I take an empathetic approach to finding the right words that have an emotional impact on audiences and connect with people on a deep level. I write copy and content for social media and digital platforms, blogs, articles, newsletters, video scripts, and creative works. I also take complex information and simplify them for audiences in an easy-to-read and engaging writing style.
In addition, I produce media and content, including editing videos and developing creative ideas and strategies for digital storytelling. I'm also an actress in film, theatre, TV, voiceover, and commercial. I normally play the soft-spoken, reserved, bubbly, sassy, quirky, and resilient characters in both drama and comedy. Additionally, I'm a screenwriter and have published a children's picture book.
Being an activist is an integral part of my work. I have been involved in social justice and environmental groups at my universities and started and ran my own animal advocacy organization in school. I have led workshops and presentations at high schools and universities around LGBTQIA+ visibility and inclusion and educated faculty members on how to make their schools more inclusive. I have also spoken at the NASTAD Gender and Race Alliance Summit in DC about health equity for the queer/BIPOC community and hosted an online educational series.
I'm currently available for virtual facilitation work. In my creative projects, there is a woven thread of awareness and connection. I have co-written and co-produced a short film titled "The Test" that was recognized at the New Faces New Voices Film Festival (2020) and the Midnight Film Festival (2021).
